Mirpur to host T20I series with full crowd capacity

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to allow 100 percent spectators in the upcoming T20I series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
The tickets of the two-match T20Is will be available at the ticket booths of the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on match days and the days before the matches said a press release from BCB.
Five types of tickets will be available in the booths Grand Stand – Tk 1000, VIP Stand – Tk 500, Club House – Tk 300, North/South Stand – Tk 150, Eastern Stand – Tk 100.

The last time the Tigers' fans had the normal experience was back in March 2020 when Bangladesh played against Zimbabwe, after which the global pandemic halted all sporting events.

After the onset of the Covid pandemic, this is the first time BCB has allowed a full capacity of spectators in the stadium. Spectators returned to the field with the Bangladesh-Pakistan series the last November. However, the BCB had a capacity of 50 percent spectators.
Bangladesh have already clinched the ODI series against Afghanistan 2-1.
Bangladesh will lock horns against Afghanistan in the first T20I on March 3 and followed that the second match will be played on 5 March. Both the matches will be staged at Mirpur Sher e Bangla Stadium.
