Ruturaj ruled out of SL T20Is with wrist injury

Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad will miss the remaining T20I series against Sri Lanka due to a wrist injury. The right-handed batter had ruled him out of the first T20I in Lucknow as well.
The 25-year-old had been ruled out of the first T20I on Thursday as well after he sustained the injury during a practice session.
“Ruturaj Gaikwad complained of pain in his right wrist, which is affecting his batting. He was unavailable for selection for the first T20I. The BCCI Medical Team is examining him,” a source was quoted saying by Cricbuzz.

India lead the three-match series 1-0, with the second game slated to be played here on Saturday.
Mayank Agarwal will replace Gaikwad in the Indian squad for the final two T20I matches, scheduled in Dharamsala on February 26 and 27, respectively.
Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Chahar are already out of the series with a fractured wrist and hamstring injury respectively.
