After receiving a corona negative result, Fortune Barishal captain Shakib al Hasan is available for today's Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League final against Comilla Victorians at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Shakib's attendance in the final was called into question after he chose to attend a television commercial shoot on Thursday, bypassing the formal captains' pre-final photo shoot and the final training session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Physician Debashish Chowdhury told reporters that if a team member leaves the team hotel, he must return with a Covid negative certificate.

“It is clearly written in the MEE that whoever goes out of the MEE need to provide corona negative certificate in order to make him available for the tournament,’’ said Debashish.
Fortune Barishal manager Sabbir Khan confirmed media that they have received Shakib’s negative result.
