Moeen's all-round brilliance helps Comilla beat Khulna

Moeen Ali's all-round performance led Comilla Victorians clinch 65-run win against Khulna Tigers, this win also ensured the BPL's playoffs on Friday.
Defending 189 runs, Comilla bowlers bundled up Khulna for 123 in 19.3 overs. Abu Haider Rony was the pick of the bowling as he grabbed three wickets for 19 runs with one maiden in his four overs.

Thisara Perera top-scored with 26 of 23 for Khulna and Soumya Sarkar played a knock of 22 runs in 25 deliveries with three boundaries.
Moeen, Nahidul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman picked up two wickets each while Tanvir Islam got one beside Rony took three.
While batting first Comilla posted massive 188 for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Comilla made a great start with opener Liton smashing 41 off 17 hitting four boundaries and three sixes.
Faf du Plessis and Moeen added an 83-run stand for the fourth wicket. Faf played a knock of 38 of 36 while Moeen played a stormy innings of 75 off 35 which featured 9 sixes and just one four. His nine sixes were the highest for a batter in the BPL history at number five.
Perera grabbed two wickets, Mahedi Hasan, Soumya, Khaled Ahmed and Nabil Samad took one wicket apiece for Khulna Tigers.
