Ashwell Prince has resigned from the position of Bangladesh batting coach due to family reasons. He will not be part of the Bangladesh touring party to South Africa next month.
According to the South African news portal IOL Sport, Prince has opted to resign in order to spend more time with his family.

However, recently the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Jamie Siddons as the batting coach of the national team for two years.

Prince was appointed as the batting consultant during the Zimbabwe series. He was with the team during the five-match T20I series against Australia as well.
He took charge as the permanent batting consultant of the Bangladesh national cricket team before the 2022 ICC Men's T20I World Cup.
Under Prince’s guidance, Bangladesh have unearthed impressive new young batters. The Tigers created a historic effort in the first Test at Mount Maunganui against New Zealand.
Prince appeared in 119 international matches for South Africa from 2002 to 2011 and has also captained the side. He joined the Cobras during the 2016/17 season as an assistant coach and took over as the head coach later in the same season.
