Dhaka edge Khulna in last over

Minister Dhaka ensured a 5-wicket win over Khulna Tigers during the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Dhaka chased down the mediocre target of 130 runs in a last-over with five wickets and 4 balls to spare. Shuvagata Hom smashed two sixes in the last over to secure the victory for the side.
Captain Mahmudullah Riyad set the tone for the side after the early dismissals of the openers. He scored 34 off 36 aided by one four and a six.

Jahurul Islam played a knock of 30 runs and Shamsur Rahman hit 25 off 14 having struck one boundary and two sixes.
Opting to bat first Khulna made a terrible start and were eventually restricted for 129 for 8 in 20 overs by Dhaka bowlers. Khulna lost 5 wickets to reach the 50-run mark with Arafat Sunny taking a double-wicket maiden during the fourth over of the game.
Sunny was the pick of the bowling for Dhaka as he took two for 15 runs in his three overs. He removed Andre Fletcher (6) and Yasir Ali for naught in the same over.
Sikander Raza top-scored with 64 runs off 50 deliveries which featured five boundaries and 4 sixes. While Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahedi Hasan played brief innings of 12 and 17 respectively.
Apart from Sunny, Azmatullah Omarzai also picked up a couple of wickets for Dhaka.
