Minister Dhaka left-arm pacer Isuru Udana is the latest player to have tested positive for Covid-19 during the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).


Udana has been diagnosed with Covid-19 during a PCR test conducted on Thursday and it was revealed on Friday that the pacer contracted the virus.

It was reported he is currently under quarantine at a hotel in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He will remain under the supervision of the tournament medical team and further tests will be done in due course.


Multiple covid cases have been recorded in the ongoing season of the tournament. Earlier, six members of Khulna Tigers tested positive on 17 January. Barishal's Munim Shahriar and Nurul Hasan Sohan also tested positive.
