Bangladesh and Khulna Tigers wicket-keeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim is not worried about poor form on the national side, he said that he wants to retain his position as the BPL's highest run-scorer.
Mushfiqur was dropped from the T20 team during the Pakistan series. In the previous 15 International Twenty20s, Mushfiqur has only played only two 30-run innings. He struck a half-century in one match during T20 World Cup.

"I'm not thinking about a comeback or the national team. I'm thinking of BPL. Alhamdulillah, I am the highest run scorer in BPL. It's a different challenge for me to keep that position. I'm not really concerned about the future,” he said.
Khulna took Mushfiqur in the team outside the draft as a direct signing. He also played for this franchise in the last season.
"I strive to do my best for the team, and that's enough for me. I am the highest run-getter in the history of the tournament and want to retain that position. It's a different type of challenge for me. As Khulna have signed me directly, I will try my best to repay the faith. I'll get to play at least ten matches. I'll try to play 12-13 matches and do my best," he added.
Mushfiqur Rahim is the leading run-scorer of BPL, with 2274 runs scored at an average of 37.27 in 81 innings in 85 matches.
