Shoriful aims to change history in NZ

Bangladesh fast bowler Shoriful Islam is confident and said they want to change the past records of the Bangladesh team on New Zealand soil.
Although the Bangladesh Test contingent could not start their practice, everyone is able to meet their teammates at certain times, maintaining social distance.

In a video message from New Zealand, the young pacer Shoriful said, "We are fine, Alhamdulillah. We have divided into two groups.
“We can now come down and meet two or three times a day. We can speak by maintaining social distance. It feels good to see each other's faces. So, I am hoping for something better this time, We will do it this time…Inshallah,” said Shoriful.
Bangladesh team are currently in quarantine after it was extended for three days by the Ministry of Health New Zealand after the spin-bowling coach Rangana Herath tested positive for Covid-19.
Bangladesh will play two warm-up matches after completing the mandatory quarantine. The first Test match will start on January 1, following that the second and final Test of the series will start on January 9 in Christchurch.
Bangladesh till date have played hosts New Zealand in nine Tests, 13 ODIs and four T20s, and has never won one.
