Bangladesh Cricket Board has received eight EOIs (Expression of Interest) for the forthcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League T20. Mind Tree Khulna is one of the franchises in this edition.
Experienced wicket-keeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim is set to be the Icon player of Khulna.
A source confirmed this to Cricfrenzy. However, the team has to wait for the official approval from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The eighth edition of the BPL will be a special edition to mark the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The managing director of Comilla Victorians Nafisa Kamal confirmed yesterday (Saturday) her franchise has already roped in Faf du Plessis from South Africa, Moeen Ali from England and West Indies star Sunil Narine.
