After much speculation, it has been announced that famous Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi would play for Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League's seventh edition.
In a video posted on Quetta Gladiators' social media accounts, Shahid Afridi expressed his delight over the move and also revealed his future plans.

"As you know, I have featured for almost all teams in the PSL but this will be my last season in the PSL and I am happy to be playing it with Quetta Gladiators," said the 44-year-old.
Before joining the Quetta Gladiators, Afridi played for three other organizations. In the first two seasons, he played for Peshawar Zalmi before joining Karachi Kings for PSL 3. Following that, he spent three seasons with the Multan Sultans.
Despite his age, the T20 World Cup winner has had a strong showing in the PSL, having played 50 matches in six seasons, taking 44 wickets at an economy rate of 6.97 and scoring 465 runs at a strike rate of 153.46.
Quetta Gladiators have already made a number of significant additions, including signing Shahid Afridi and England's James Vince, as well as pulling Iftikhar Ahmed away from Islamabad United.
