Sri Lanka’s Under-19 made a clean sweep in the five-match Youth ODI series against Bangladesh Under-19 in Dambulla International Stadium with a nail-biting 4 run win.
In pursuit of 241 runs, Bangladesh U-19 got off to a strong start with 67 runs opening stand between Mahfijul Islam (62) and Iftikhar Hossain (32).

Aich Mollah scored a half-century (55), however, the Lankans bowling department proved to be too strong, as they dismissed the visitors 236 runs.
Vinuja Ranpul and Dunith Wellalage took a couple of wickets each for the side.
Earlier, batting first the hosts posted 240 runs for the loss of 9 wickets thanks to a century by Chamindu Wickremesinghe (102) and a half-ton by Shevon Daniel (59).
Mushfik Hasan returned figures of 3 wickets for 37 runs in 10 overs, Ripon Mondol and Ahosan Habib took two wickets each for Bangladesh.
