Bangladesh left behind Australia in T20I ranking

Bangladesh cricket team moved up again in the T20I ranking as they got the 6th position after touching the No 7 position afterward in the first T20I win against New Zealand Wednesday. The Tigers had started the series with No 10 in the table.
Bangladesh have registered their second win against the visitors, defeating by four runs at the Sher-e Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Friday and go ahead of mighty Australia.
Earlier, after a big win of 7 wickets in the first T20, 12 rating points were added in Bangladesh’s bag.

So Bangladesh was at No 7 with 238 points. After winning the second match, Bangladesh has gained 3 more rating points. As a result, Australia, who has 240 rating points, has gone down one step.
Winning the series 5-0 will see Bangladesh reach 248 rating points, and move to No 5 spot in the T20 rating.
If New Zealand face whitewash against the Tigers, they will go down from three to four. England tops the T20 rankings with 278 rating points.
