England is set to tour Pakistan for two-match T20 series ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates in October.
Both matches were initially scheduled to be played in Karachi, but the Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday said it was moving the series to Rawalpindi due to “operational and logistical reasons.”
England´s men's team will tour Pakistan after 16 years, they last toured Pakistan in 2005.

"We are delighted to welcome both the England men's team for what will be their first tour to Pakistan since 2005, and the England women's team, who will be touring Pakistan for the first time,”
“Both are additional tours with England men's side scheduled to return to Pakistan in the last quarter of 2022 for white-ball and ICC World Test Championship fixtures," said PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan.
England’s Men’s and Women’s squad will arrive on October 9. The Women’s team will stay back in Rawalpindi for the three ODIs on October 17, 19, and 21.
The series would be the last clash for both teams before they begin their World Cup journey. The two sides recently clashed in a three-match T20I series in England, with the hosts prevailing by a 2-1 margin.
