Pakistan received a big blow ahead of their second T20 international against West Indies as Azam Khan was hit on the head during practice. The young batsman Azam has now been ruled out of the 2nd and 3rd T20I due to a head injury, confirmed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Azam suffered a head injury during the practice session on Friday and according to a statement released by the PCB, a neurosurgeon has advised that the young batter should remain under observation for 24 hours and he will once again be assessed on Monday (August 02).

Azam Khan, the son of former Pakistan skipper Moin Khan, made his T20I debut earlier this month, and he was publically backed by head coach Misbah-ul-Haq ahead of the West Indies T20Is.
Pakistan's first faceoff against hosts West Indies in Barbados was washed out as only nine overs could be thrown. The upcoming all matches of the series will be played in Guyana.
The two teams will also clash in the two-match Test series, starting August 12 and 20.
