Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali Monday said that he wanted to become an all-rounder in all three formats and doing hard yards in the nets for the purpose.
Ali also said he wants to become a top all-format all-rounder like his predecessors Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.
“I want to see myself as an all-rounder in all three format and I am putting in extra yards in the nets. I am inspired by Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood and want to contribute in crucial times for my team. “I usually get to bat in death overs in T20Is and the only option I have at that point is to hit the ball hard. I am working to improve my power-hitting in the practice sessions and learning to how to score more and more runs against Yorkers, bouncers and slower deliveries.”
Following a string of strong performances against England, Hasan is all set to tour the West Indies. He became the seventh Pakistan bowler to be inducted into the famous Lord's honours board. He grabbed five for 51 in the second ODI before delivering an excellent spell in the final T20I, allowing only 28 runs.

“T20 cricket is all about variations and a good bowler should have command on bowling different variations. I have been practicing different deliveries in the nets and am very keen to do better in the upcoming series against the West Indies. “I believe in giving everything for the team once I step in the field – whether it is by taking a wicket or hitting the ball out of the park,” he added.
Pakistan and West Indies will lock horns in a four-match T20 series and two Test matches.
Schedule of the T20I series:
28 Jul – 1st T20I, Kensington Oval, Barbados
31 Jul – 2nd T20I, Providence Stadium, Guyana
1 Aug – 3rd T20I, Providence Stadium, Guyana
3 Aug – 4th T20I, Providence Stadium, Guyana.
