Prime Bank beat Shinepukur Cricket Club by three wickets in their Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division T20 League match under lights at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today, thanks to Nayeem Hasan's all-round performance.
Prime Bank restricted Shinepukur to 119 runs with the help of off-spinner Nayeem's three for 24 in four overs and Monir Hossain's miserly stats of two for 15. Skipper Towhid Hridoy's 25-ball 29 was the top score for Shinepukur.

Following the swap, Prime Bank got off to a solid start, despite losing skipper Anamul Haque in the second over, due to a 52-run second-wicket stand between Tamim Iqbal and Rony Talukdar. Tamim's 32-run innings, which included four boundaries and a maximum, was unfortunately cut short when he was run-out in the eighth over.
Prime Bank lost five wickets in the space of 28 deliveries after Tamim's dismissal, scoring just 21 runs in the process, and were left battling at 89 for seven after 13 overs.
Nayeem (18 off 16) and Raqibul Hasan (18 off 34) both remained unbeaten as they lifted their side from a precarious situation and helped secure a victory with three balls to spare.
