Bangladesh all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin was hit on his helmet while batting in the second ODI against Sri Lanka at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Tuesday.
The left-handed batsman showed signs of concussion and for his safety, made way for right-arm paceman Taskin Ahmed, who will come in as a like-for-like replacement.

In the second ball of the 47th over of Bangladesh's innings, a bounced ball from Dushmantha Chameera hit Saifuddin on the head. After that he ran for a quick single but didn’t succeed.
He was run out on a direct throw by Kusal Mendis and returned to the dressing room.
Saifuddin's innings ended with 11 runs off 30 balls. He was then taken to hospital. Taskin became the first ever concussion sub for Bangladesh in ODI.
