Cricket is a game where you can see both sides of the coin. There are players who make millions of dollars per year and live a luxurious lifestyle. There are athletes who have amassed riches as a result of representing their country in different leagues around the world.
But then, there is the other side as well. Cricket has not been so kind to many cricketers. And, there is a tweet put out by Ryan Burl that will surely melt the heart of a cricket fan.
Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl posted a tweet with some shoes on it, asking if anybody would be willing to sponsor shoes for the Zimbabwe cricket team so that the players don't have to glue their shoes back on after each series.
“Any chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series,” tweeted Burl.
Ryan Burl has been a part of the Zimbabwe side since 2017. In his international career that has spanned 4 years, Burl has represented the Zimbabwe side in 3 Tests, 18 ODIs, and 25 T20Is. In the whites, Burl has scored 24 runs and has scalped 4 wickets.
In the ODI format of the game, Burl has scored 243 runs and has also picked up 7 wickets, while in the T20I format, the left-hander has plundered 393 runs and has scalped 15 wickets.
