Alesha Holdings LTD leading E-commerce company in Bangladesh has become the sponsor of the home series of the Bangladesh national cricket team for two years and Walton will be the powered sponsor for the Bangladesh- Sri Lanka Series.
Bangladesh team will play 10 series from 2021 to October 2023. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has sold the sponsorship rights and ground branding rights of 44 international matches including a total of 7 Tests, 18 ODIs and 19 T20s.
The BCB has invited tenders for home series sponsorship and ground branding rights for two years after the sale of team sponsors, kit sponsors and TV rights. The country's cricket governing body has set a base price of Tk 26 crore. The Impress-Matra consortium bought the rights of the home series for Tk 32.55 crore.

BCB announced the names of Walton and Alesha as sponsors at a press conference in front of the Sher-e-Bangla Academy building in Mirpur on Saturday [May 22].'
BCB chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury and Alesha Mart executive director Nahid Jahan and Walton Group executive director Uday Hakim were present at the press conference. “We have tendered for the sale of rights for a long time. We are getting more than we expected. Bangladesh Cricket Board wants to thank Alesha Holdings and Walton. Walton has always been on the side of cricket development. This time we have Alesha Holdings by our side,”
“Alesha Mart is working to serve the consumers in the market of Bangladesh. Cricket is a platform where everyone in Bangladesh works together. Alesha Holdings will be involved for the next two years to take cricket one step further and inspire the Bangladesh cricket team,” said Nahida Jahan
In August, September and October this year, Bangladesh will host New Zealand, Australia and England. Pakistan will visit at the end of the year. Next year India will tour Bangladesh to play 2 Tests and 3 ODIs.
