Mustafizur Rahman was released from the mandatory quarantine after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appealed to the Ministry of Health to have him prepared for the upcoming Sri Lanka series. However, he could not attend the practice on Tuesday due to rain.

Tiger pacer Mustafiz will get two more days to prepare before the first ODI and he is hopeful to prepare himself within the short time.

Speaking to media on Wednesday, May 19 Mustafiz said, "I got to practice only one day throughout the last 19 days of IPL and country's room quarantine. I don't know ... me and [Shakib Al Hasan] Bhai were almost the same. We could not practice yesterday, we will get two more days. I hope we can prepare within remaining time,”

Mustafiz hopes to retain the form in the Sri Lanka series. "If I don't do anything for 19 days in a row, except for the things that can be done in the room, then I can’t think about lot on the first day. I'm trying to get back into form slowly,”

The left-arm pacer has taken 8 wickets in 7 matches for Rajasthan. He was in the bio-bubble zone for about a month during the IPL. Mustafiz will have to enter the bio-safety zone again.

Describing the bitter experience of the quarantine, Mustafiz said, "The last two years have been difficult for me, not just for me, but for all the players.”
