Miraz embracing Shakib’s role but doing it his own way

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan returned negative in his first Covid-19 test on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mustafizur Rahman, who traveled with Shakib from India, is still waiting for the results of the test.
According to the Daily Star Bangladesh, Cricket Board (BCB) physician Monjurul Hossain Chowdhury informed that "Shakib was tested negative in his first Covid test. However, we will be getting Mustafizur's test result tomorrow,"
The Duo will join the Bangladesh team at the end of the 14-day institutional quarantine. Shakib is quarantined at Four Points by Sheraton, Mustafiz and his wife are quarantined at Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the city.
Shakib and Mustafizur arrived in the country last Thursday via a chartered flight after the suspension of IPL, which was arranged by their respective franchises Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals carrying the cost of the flight.
Shakib-Mustafiz were included in the preliminary squad for the Sri Lanka series, the first ODI is set to be played on May 23 after practicing for one or two days. The second and third ODIs will be played on May 25 and 26.
