Bangladesh pace Mustafizur Rahman has filled overseas players’ slot with only Chris Morris, Jos Buttler and David Miller for Rajasthan Royals as Australia cricketer Andrew Tye has pulled out of the rest of the IPL season due to personal reason. Tye is the fourth player of the Royals’ camp to leave the tournament now.
The Purple Cap winner of IPL 2018, Tye only played 6 matches for Punjab Kings in 2019. He moved to RR at his base price of Rs 1 crore. He only played one match in IPL 2020 in UAE. He went for 50 runs and scalped one wicket in the fixture. Despite that, the management retained him for IPL 2021.

Prior to him, Jofra Archer was ruled out of IPL 2021 while Ben Stokes injured his finger during the team’s first match of the season. Liam Livingstone was the third player as he travelled back home citing bubble fatigue as the reason.

However, a couple of days ago, it was reported that Rassie van der Dussen will join the Royals’ camp soon and he is awaiting clearance of his visa to travel to India.
After registering their second win of the season on Saturday, Rajasthan Royals are next scheduled to face the five-time champions Mumbai Indians on April 29 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
