Babar Azam moves to second spot in T20Is rankings

Pakistan drop captain Rizwan and Babar in T20Is, Shaheen from ODIs for NZ series

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has moved to the second spot in the ICC T20I rankings with 844 points, overtaking Australia’s white ball captain Aaron Finch. A few days ago, he topped the ICC ODI rankings, surpassing Virat Kohli.
Aaron Finch dropped to third place with 830 points. However, Dawid Malan is still above all with 892 points. New Zealand’s Devon Conway is in the top four with 774 rating points. Virat Kohli holds the 5th place with 762 rating points.

Rassie van der Dussen is in sixth position with 756 rating point improved by three steps. Lokesh Rahul has dropped to number seven.
The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman has obtained 743 rating points. Australia’s Glenn Maxwell went down to number eight position with 694 rating points.
New Zealand’s Martin Guptill is one step behind. He is at number nine with 688 points. Hazratullah Zazai stands at number 10.
Last week, Azam toppled Indian captain Virat Kohli to become the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world. Azam now sits on top of ICC's ODI batsman rankings with 865 points and Kohli is number 2 with 857 points.
