Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) High performance Unit (HP) chief Naimur Rahman Durjoy stated that there are various plans in work to improve the white ball cricket with the cricketers of the HP team. He also said that the longer version of cricket will be given more importance.

As before, in our time we have played good first class tournaments in the West Indies and some longer versions of cricket in India like Moin-ud-Dawlah, Buchi Babu Trophy etc. Also the tournaments held in South India. We are working to involve in any Test playing country's domestic level game,” said Durjoy.
