“I want to contribute to the team's victory this season. The record I want to set is one match, a century and a five-for. Every year I am learning something new from IPL. I was looking forward to face Joffra Archer this season, even though he is injured. Another is Pat Cummins, whom I will deal with a lot on the net” Shakib said.
“'This season I am looking to play against Mumbai Indians. Our team is full in all sections this time. Even then I would say, Kolkata's bowling attack is very good. For that we can win this season”
Shakib last played in the IPL in 2019 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He could not take part in 2020 due to a one-year ban from ICC. This time the all-rounder is returning to the IPL again for KKR.
