Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after a seven-day quarantine which ended on Saturday (April 3). He was spotted in the dugout during a warm-up match in Kolkata.
However, he did not play in the first warm-up match after returning from the mandatory quarantine. He was spotted to run a bit at the end of the preparation match.

Kolkata assistant coach Abhishek Nayar confirmed that Shakib will return to practice from Sunday. Besides returning to practice, he will play in the second warm-up match in Kolkata. The team is scheduled to play the second warm-up match the day after tomorrow [ April 5].
"I don't think so, because he has just returned from quarantine. He will start practice from tomorrow (Sunday). He was out of the game for 5-6 weeks. However, he will play the preparation match the day after tomorrow,” Abhishek said.
Kolkata, who have won the title twice, have picked Shakib for Rs 32 million from the auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was previously a member of Kolkata's winning team in 2012 and 2014.
IPL is slated to begin from April 9. However, Shakib's mission will start with the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11.
