Naim-Soumya rise to T20I ranking

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has updated the player rankings of T20 format, after the two matches of the T20 series between New Zealand and Bangladesh. Two Bangladesh batsmen Naim Sheikh and Soumya Sarkar have improved in rankings besides, Bangladesh ODI captain Mahmudullah has also advanced in the ODI rankings.
21-year-old left-arm opener, Naim has scored 27 and 38 in the first two matches. He has improved 13 steps in the ranking and secured the 28th position.
Soumya has regained form in Napier. He scored 51 runs from 27 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Soumya has moved to 41st position, five steps ahead in the rankings.
At the end of the three-match ODI series, Mahmudullah has improved by seven steps. Playing an unbeaten 76-run innings, he acquired the 40th position of the ranking.
