After Sachin Tendulkar, S Badrinath and Yusuf Pathan, another India Legends player who played at the Road Safety World Series tournament have been tested positive for COVID-19. Notably, he was also in the commentary box during India vs England three-match One Day International series as well.
However, he took to social media and announced the news to everyone.

"I have tested positive for COVID-19 with no symptoms and have isolated myself and quarantined at home. I would request those who came in contact with me in recent past to please get themselves tested," Irfan Pathan wrote. "Urging all to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Wishing you all good health."
Meanwhile, former India and Tamil Nadu batsman S Badrinath has also been tested positive for COVID-19. And, he becomes the third player from the India Legends team for the just-concluded Road Safety World Series to test positive for the deadly virus as well. On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan had also announced on Saturday that they too were affected by the virus.
"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I've quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors," the batting legend tweeted.
"I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country," he further added.
