Spectators set to return in Bangladesh-SL Test

Cricket fans will be allowed to spectate the upcoming two-Test series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka which is slated to begin from April 21 at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy. It was confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Sports Ministry on March 24.


The series was scheduled to be played during October – November in 2020 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will take place from April 21 to 25, followed by the second Test from April 29 to May 3.


Bangladesh team is currently touring New Zealand for three ODIs and three T20I.


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the two-Test series between Sri Lanka and England was played behind closed doors. The hosts were defeated by England 2-0 in the series.
