Bangladesh Emerging Team seal victory against Ireland Wolves in lone T20

Bangladesh emerging team defeated Ireland Wolves by 30 runs in their only T20 match in Mirpur. Tigers restricted Ireland on 154 to register their victory in T20 after whitewashing in the ODI series.
Chasing the target of 185 wickets by the host, Ireland were in trouble since the first over of the match as they lost the opening batsman Gareth Delany for naught. The wolves then lost wickets at regular intervals.
Lorcan Tucker, who came to bat at number 4, scored the highest run in Wolves' innings. Before being out, his innings of 38 runs from 22 balls came from the bat. On the other hand, Shane Getkate remained unbeaten on 26 runs.
Wolves captain Harry Tector and Stephen Doheny added 45 runs in the second wicket. But left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam returned Tector (22) to the dressing room. Doheny scored 29 runs off 24 balls.
Apart from them no one could put up a good score on the board. Bangladesh bowler Sumon Khan took 4 wickets in Bangladesh's victory. While, Tanvir and Aminul Islam took 2 wickets each.

Earlier, Emerging team sent to bat first after losing the toss. Top-order batsman Towhid Hridoy's stormy half-century (58) and Shamim Hossain's (28) innings helped them to score 184 at the end of the allotted 20 overs.
Hridoy started the innings with a boundary on the very first ball. After that, the right-handed batsman continued to play confidently throughout the entire innings. He returned scoring 58 off 35 balls with 7 fours and 1 six. Shamim Hossain came to bat at the crease after Saif Hassan dismissals, he scored 28 of 11 balls with the help of 4 sixes.
However, Bangladesh lost early wicket of Anisul Islam Emon, who returned for naught by Joshua Little caught Gareth Delany.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy was bowled by Mark Adair for 8 off 10 balls. Yasir Ali Rabbi returned scoring 22 runs off 18 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. Lorcan tucker caught him behind the wicket by Curtis Campher.
Opener Saif batted well, though he stopped at 48, missed his half century for two runs. He made 48 off 36 balls with 5 fours and 1 six.
Then Aminul and Sumon remained unbeaten on 1 and 2 runs respectively. Peter Chase took 2 wickets, Campher and Getkate got 1 wicket each.
Skipper Saif Hassan was adjudged man of the match.
