Bangladesh Legends leave RSWS winless

Bangladesh Legends concluded their journey of Road Safety World series by facing another defeat against South Africa Legends in Raipur, India. The unbreakable partnership of 161 runs between Andrew Puttick and Morne Van Wyk led the side registered the victory by 10 wickets.
Bangladesh posted the target of 161 runs, in reply to that South Africa openers Puttick and Van Wyk chased the target with 4 balls in hand. Puttick, who scored 82 faced 54 balls, made 9 fours and 1 six. While, his companion Van Wyk played a steady innings of 69 runs off 62 balls with nine boundaries.
Earlier, South Africa won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first. Aftab Ahmed and Hannan Sarkar's partnership of 61 runs led the side score a good target. Swashbuckling batsman Aftab made 39 runs off 24 balls, hitting 1 four and 3 six. While another batsman Hannan scored 36 from 31 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.
Apart from them, Khaled Mashud 19 and Nazimuddin scored 32 runs. No other batsmen could cross double figure. Bangladesh were restricted to 160 for 9 in 20 overs.

South Africa bowlers Thandi Tshabalala, Makhaya Ntini got two wickets each and Garnett Kruger, Monde Zondeki and Zander de Bruyn got one wicket each.
South Africa secured their position in top four in the tournament and will play in the semi-finals.
