Bangladesh emerging team top-order batsman Towhid Hridoy said that he does not judge any opponent team or the players. The young batsman said he came to the field to win. He also said that it became easier to play against the Ireland Wolves as he has experience of playing with the senior cricketers of the Bangladesh national team.

Members of the emerging team and Under-19 World Cup winning teams had the opportunity to play with the seniors Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup and BCB President's Cup. The young batsman said that he has gained the confidence to play against experienced cricketers by playing with them.

“They have seven players from the national team. Actually when we play on the field, who is from the national team, who is experienced does not come to mind. We are always there to win the game. Although it would give them confidence having national team players in the team. But I can say that I have played with better players than them. We have played with many senior players in the President's Cup, Bangabandhu Cup. That's where we got the confidence from,” said Hridoy.

Emerging team defeated Ireland Wolves by 8 wickets in the fourth ODI at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Hridoy played an unbeaten innings of 88 runs missed the century for 12 runs. However, he said that he wanted to ensure the victory of the team without thinking too much about the century and play according to his ability.

"There was no talk about the century. I was trying to move forward in the same flow I was playing. If I had targeted century, maybe something else would have happened. I tried to play according to the merit of the ball." He added.
