The remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) are likely to take place in September or November, due to a busy schedule in March-June.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the teams are facing difficulties in scheduling the remaining 20 matches of the event after it was postponed due to Covid-19 cases among players and support staff officials.

One of the options was to hold the matches towards the end of March but that will clash with Pakistan’s tour of South Africa. PCB believes that delaying an international series won’t be a good thing to do while it also doesn’t want to ruin its relationship with Cricket South Africa (CSA).
PCB wanted to hold the PSL in June, however due to unavailability of England players taking part in the Vitality Blast and concerns about the foreign players they would be tired after the Indian Premier League (IPL).
PSL franchises want the matches to take place as soon as possible. In September there’s no international series planned or after the T20 World Cup in November seem to be the only options.
