Bangladesh team is all set to return to team practice in Queenstown after completing 14 days mandatory quarantine in New Zealand. After being negative in the fourth round of corona test the Tigers are free from such isolations. Bangladesh ODI captain Tamim is delighted to return to team practice after the end of quarantine.
Spin bowling coach Daniel Vettori has already arrived in Queenstown to join the team. Tigers will play a practice match in addition to few practice sessions before the start of the ODI series.
“Vettori is already in Queenstown waiting for us. We do have practice sessions and a practice match as well. So looking forward to it, we have been training in small groups during isolation. From tomorrow we will be training as a team so realliy looking forward to it,” said Tamim.

Tamim is happy to be able to join the team and also praised New Zealand's hospitality. The skipper wants to thank all those who have taken care of the Bangladesh team in Christchurch for 14 days.
“It feels great. It is a first time experience for us. We have been in the bubble but not in a complete isolation. Honestly, those who were here took good care of us. The entire staff and New Zealand cricket has taken care of everything, from our team we can only thank them. But it’s a difficult place to be but they made it as comfortable as possible.”
Bangladesh team has to stay more number of days in New Zealand, due to corona restrictions. According to Tamim it creates a difference but he is not too worried about it. Instead, he wants to respect the rules of the country.
“It makes a huge difference, we have probably been touring New Zealand for 45 days where in normal situation we could have tour for 20-22 days and go back home. We had to undergo isolation for another 14 days, but things are different now, we have to be respectable to the country as well. The good thing is we are out in the fresh air now, not like the last two weeks. We were given a particular time to get out. But all good now,” He added.
