India, Australia and England have shared most of the ICC tournaments from 2016 to 2023. Where no big tournament has been organized in countries like Bangladesh, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand and Pakistan.

Between 2023-2031, the ICC wanted to host eight men’s, eight women’s and eight under-19 World Cups. The hosts of these 24 ICC tournaments were said to be selected through a bidding process. However, it was opposed by the BCCI.

Although, other countries supported the ICC bidding process because it would benefit the weaker parties financially.

The ICC has not yet commented on the matter, but it is expected to withdraw the bidding process. However, their plan was to make countries like America and Africa complementary to countries like India, Australia and England through this process. However, due to restraint, the ICC's plan is not being implemented.
