Tanvir bags 13 wickets as HP beat Ireland Wolves by an innings and 23 runs

Bangladesh HP team won the four-day match against Ireland Wolves by an innings and 23 runs. Left-arm orthodox Tanvir Islam took 13 wickets in the match as the Irish bastmen could not stand the spin-trap of the bowler.
In reply to Bangladesh's 313 runs in the first innings, Ireland Wolves were all out for 151 and 139 runs in two innings respectively. Ireland batsmen resumed their innings at 35/4 , though Curtis Campher and Harry Tector started well and they made a partnership of 60 runs. After the wicket of Campher (22) by Saif Hassan, there were no big partnerships, and no other batsmen could display anything special on the crease.

Tanvir, who took a Fifer in the first innings , bagged 8 wickets in the second Innings . Lower orders Graham Hume (1),Mark Adair(14),Gareth Delany(8), all returned by Tanvir. He also picked off the wicket of the skipper ,Tector(55) who returned just after his half-century. Lorcan Tucker was his first hunt of the day.
Earlier, Tanvir crashed down the top-order batsmen as he picked up three wickets on the second day. He sent off Jeremy Lawlor(8), Jonathan Garth(0) and Stephen Doheny(20). On the other hand, pacer Ebadot Hossain took the wicket of James McCollum.
In their first innings, Bangladesh HP scored 313 runs with 92 runs by Yasir Ali Rabbi, 49 runs by Saif, 41 runs by Tanjid Hasan Tamim and 42 runs by Mahmudul Hasan Joy. Adair and Graham Hume took three wickets each for the Irish.
