West Indies have turned the table from the ODI series sweep and took revenge in the red ball game as visitors clinched the Test series and whitewashed Bangladesh 2-0. Tiger skipper Mominul Haque have blamed the middle order collapse despite a great start from the openers.
Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar, the two opening batsmen, got off to a great start as they chasing 231 runs. The two made a pair of 59 runs. But then skipper Kraigg Brathwaite gave the breakthrough and two other spinners Jomel Warrican and Rahkeem Cornwall sent off the middle order batsmen. Mominul praised senior players afford and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s performance with with bat and ball.

“When you lose, it's disappointing. We have some positives like Miraz with bat and ball. Taijul bowled really well. Tamim, Mushfiqur got fifties. When the openers were batting, we thought we can chase it. But the middle order collapsed badly. Miraz tried hard but we couldn't reach our goal.” said Mominul.

Test captain Mominul have missed the presence of premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on field, who missed the second Test due to groin injury.
“Shakib is a 2-in-1 player, so when we lose him, its difficult as captain to get a combination that can balance the team.” he added
