Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq expressed his disappointment on pacer Mohammad Amir due to his retirement from international cricket.
While speaking to Cricket Pakistan, he urged players to give importance to Test cricket over other formats. He also commented on Amir’s retirement and compared him with Wasim Akram.

“He is an extremely talented bowler and you could see glimpses of Wasim Akram in him. It would be great for Pakistan cricket if he consistently played and performed for Pakistan. This retirement is a major setback, for him and Pakistan cricket,” said Razzaq.
“Players who give priority to T20s over Test cricket will never go on to become great players,” he added.
Pakistan spearhead pacer Amir had held the Pakistan team management responsible for his decision to quit International cricket at 28.
