Tamim's injury to be scanned on Sunday

Tamim Iqbal injured his finger while fielding on the fourth day against the West Indies. That is why he did not come on the field. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has not yet commented on the seriousness of the left-arm batsman's injury
It has been confirmed that Tamim's finger will be scanned on Sunday, February 7. After Shakib who departed earlier due to groin injury, the opening batsman had stayed off the field on the fifth day of the Chittagong Test. A reliable source confirmed the matter to Cricfrenzy.
The incident happened during the 29th over of the second innings of the West Indies. Tamim was fielding in the cover.Tamim got injured in the finger of his right hand while trying to loop the ball which was driven toward the cover by Kyle Mayers. Then the doctor rushed from the dressing room and took him out of the field.
Despite batting well in the ODI series against the West Indies, Tamim failed to match himself in white-ball cricket. He made a total of 9 runs in two innings. In the first innings, Kemar Roach bowled him within just 9 runs, while in the second innings he fell into the trap of leg before by Rahkeem Cornwall and was out for zero.
