Bangladesh lead by 218 runs against West Indies at the end of the third day of the first Test match at Chattogram. Despite having a huge lead , the hosts were in trouble as the batting lineup collapsed after Windies grabbed three quick wickets . Tiger's reached 47 for three wickets in their second innings ,Skipper Mominul (31*) and Mushfiqur (10*) remained unbeaten and will resume on the fourth morning.
 
West Indies conceded 171 runs lead , which ensured Bangladesh a strong total but Rahkeem Cornwall changed the table by taking two wickets at the beginning of the second innings. Shadman Islam who got a half century in the first innings was gone for 5 runs by Shanon Gabriel. Earlier, Tamim Iqbal and Nazmul Hossain Shanto were returned to the pavilion by Cornwall on the very first over. 
 
Bangladesh bundled up West Indies by 259 runs ,  as Mehidy Hasan Miraz took 4 wickets and others (Nayeem Hasan , Taijul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman) took 2 wickets each. Windies batting line up trembled down by Bangladesh spinners as they lost 5 wickets within 6 runs.
 
Mehidy Hasan, who scored highest with 103 in Bangladesh's first innings, triggered the collapse of Windies lineup, as the West Indies were bowled out soon after the tea break.
 
Jermaine Blackwood (68) and Joshua Da Silva (42) made a strong partnership of 99 runs which propelled Windies to exceed 250 runs, Kyle Mayers who joined the crease as Bonner departed. He returned after scoring 40 on Mehidy's bowl.
 
Kraigg Brathwaite hit a half ton but Nayeem stopped the innings on 76 runs with an exceptional bowl. West Indies lost Bonner early, as Taijul sent him off on the very first ball of the session.
 
Bangladesh were one bowler short on the third day after Shakib Al Hasan picked up a fresh groin injury. He was replaced by Yasir Ali Rabbi on field.
