Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has injured his groin again, while fielding on the second day of the first Test. After undergoing an MRI this morning, it is known that the all-rounder got injured in another place of his groin on the same foot.
Shakib was kept under observation for 48 hours before the Test series. Although overcoming all fears he came back to the field. During the first innings, he was seen batting after taking a pain killer. But on the second day in the afternoon, while fielding his own ball, Shakib suffered a blow in his old injury.

Shakib continued to bowl later but he was feeling uncomfortable due to pain. Seeing no way out, he left the field before the end of the day's play.

In this regard, the BCB said in a statement, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan recovered from a groin injury before the first Test and batted successfully in Bangladesh's first innings. But after fielding on the second day, he got injured in a separate part of his thigh after 6 overs.
The BCB medical team will continue to treat and review its progress during the first test. On the third day of the first Test, Shakib did not enter the field.Shakib has been replaced by substitute Yasir Ali on the field.
