West Indies has posted 75 for 2 as they are 355 runs behind against Bangladesh in Chattogram during their second day of the first Test match. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz made his first century of his Test career and guided Bangladesh to score a huge total.
West Indies acting skipper Kraigg Brathwaite (49*) and debutant Nkrumah Bonner (17*) remained unbeaten after two early strikes from Mustafizur Rahman at the beginning of their innings. Fiz took the wicket of John Campbell in his third over. Although, another debutant Shane Moseley (2) did not have a good start of his Test career as became the second victim of only pacer of Tigers’ side.

Earlier, Bangladesh resumed their innings on 242/5. Liton Das (38) was gone early as Windies spinner Jomel Warrican bowled him out. Miraz joined Shakib and made highest partnership of the innings of 67 runs. Shakib’s (68) back with bat in Test and got his 25th half century before Rahkeem Cornwall made him his prey.
As Shakib departs Taijul Islam (18) joined Miraz and added 44 runs in eighth wicket partnership. Tale eneder Nayeem Hasan (24) companied him with 57 runs partnership. Miraz got his maiden hundred with last batsman Mustafiz and played a brilliant 103 runs innings with thirteen boundaries and got out just before tea.
Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican was the most successful bowler for West Indies with 4-133, while Cornwall bagged 2 for 114.
West Indies 75/2 in 29 overs ( Brathwaite 49*, Bonner 17*, Mustafizur 2/18) trail Bangladesh 430 in 150.2 overs ( Miraz 103 ,Shakib 68, Shadman 59,Warrican 4/133, 2/114) by 355 runs.
