Sri Lanka will visit Bangladesh in May to play a three-match ODI series, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Cricket Operations Committee Chairman Akram Khan confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
Bangladesh will tour New Zealand at the end of the ongoing series against West Indies. The Tigers will have some free time after the Kiwi series as BCB wants to organize that ODI series against Sri Lanka as their schedule free that time.

The cricket boards of the two countries are also planning to host the postponed Test series which was decided to be held last July. Although it is not certain when the series will take place, it will be played before or after the ODI series. The BCB official said the tours have been confirmed by the cricket boards of the two countries.

“The Sri Lankan team will arrive in Bangladesh in May. We're not going there. But we can go there before and after. But both tours are confirmed.” said BCB official.
The Zimbabwe tour is still in dilemma as Akram Khan mentioned “Zimbabwe tour has not been sure yet, maybe we will finalize in a few days. Since it was canceled and both our boards have a matter of time. We are thinking. There is also a matter of rest for our players. It’s actually pretty tough for the players. This biosecurity zone is a big pressure for the players, so we have it in mind as the rest of the players is also important, so we are doing the tour considering everything.”
