Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Liton Das is eagerly waiting for the Test series in home soil against West Indies, Which will commence from next month in Chattogram. He couldn’t find himself in the latest ODI series against the visitor as Liton doesn’t want to recall his ODI performance and wants to concentrate on red ball.
26 years old dashing batsman doesn’t have the role behind the wickets in ODI because of the experienced wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim but he gets the job in Test. However, Liton’s batting position is changeable in both formats. ODI opener, who is a middle order batsman in Test is exited to play this format and aims to perform well.

“I am playing Test cricket after many days and I am very happy that international cricket is starting after many days. Test cricket is a completely different thing. I didn't do well in ODIs, but it's a completely different format. I don't want to think about that or recall that. Here is my new role, I will try to play the role well here.” said in a video massage on Saturday.

Earlier today [Saturday], Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the 18-member squad for the two Test series. Part of the squad Liton plays 20 matches for the Tigers with an average of 25.26, admitted that the Caribbeans bowling department is very good and the batters have to spend long time on the crease to defend them.
“Of course it will be difficult. They have very good pace attacks and spin. The situation will depend on a lot of things. The things that seem to me are that if we want to play better cricket, we have to spend a lot of time on wickets to perform well. Plus we have to handle situations.” he added.
