West Indies collected 179 runs for 5 wickets against BCB XI in the second day of three day warm up match at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram as both sides' spinners have ruled the day. Rahkeem Cornwall and Jomel Warrican helped to restrict their counterparts on 160, while Saif Hassan sparked against the visitors at the end of the Day.

West Indies started their second innings with a lead of 97 runs. Syed Khaled Ahmed hit the Caribbean in the first over of the innings. Shane Moseley returned to the dressing room after falling into the trap of leg before with zero runs. However, John Campbell and Nkrumah Bonner overcame the initial push. West Indies are on their way to a big collection with their impeccable pairing.
Saif was able to take the advantage of spin friendly wicket and broke the 129-run partnership between Campbell and Bonner by returning Campbell who scored 68 off 98 balls. After that, he did not allow Jermaine Blackwood to settle down. The batsman went back for just 4 runs.
Fast bowler Mukidul Islam picked the wicket of Kavem Hodge as the last wicket of the day. Bonner, unbeaten on 70 and Joshua de Silva on zero, will bat on the third day.

On the beginning of the second day, Cornwall and Warrican took eight important wickets to bundle BCB XI for a small total. BCB XI started the day with 24 runs on the board without any wickets. In the first session of the second day, Saif Hasan (15) returned to the dressing room after falling into the trap of leg before on the fifth ball of Kemar Roach. When Dipu returned with 13 off 37 balls, Towhid Hridoy joined Sohan. He also could not match himself in that way. He returned with 7 runs from 11 balls. Akbar Ali could not settle down either. The Under-19 World Cup winning captain returned for 5 runs off 8 balls.

BCB XI lost three batsmen within only two runs. Opener Shadman Islam had returned along with Naeem Shaikh, who scored 45. The left-hand opener made 22 out of 82 balls. Even, Yasir Ali Rabbi also had to make it back to the pavilion with only one run. Rahkeem Cornwall got the wicket.
