Afridi was not allowed to enter UAE

Several star cricketers are scheduled to make appearances in the 4th edition of T-10 league which is to be held in the United Arab Emirates. However, the experienced all-rounder Shahid Afridi has not been able to join the team Qalandars even though the tournament has started. The UAE did not allow Afridi to enter the country due to visa complications.
It has been reported that Afridi’s Residential UAE Visa has already expired. The Pakistan all-rounder noticed it only after landing in Abu Dhabi. Now, Afridi has headed back to Pakistan, has got his Visa updated, and will return back to the UAE to take part in the team.
The Pakistan media claims that the cricketer will join the team in the next 2-3 days. On Friday January 29, Qalandars went on to play their first match without Afridi They left the field with a big win .After winning the toss and choosing to field, the Pune Devils were bowled out for 107 by the Qalandars.
Tom Banton and Sharjeel Khan got off to a great start by chasing for 108 runs to win. Banton was dismissed for 45, but Sharjeel 28 and Sohail's 33 helped them win by 9 wickets.
