Bangladesh won the series by defeating West Indies in the second ODI and leading the series by 2-0. Tamim Iqbal made 50 runs off 76 balls with the bat. Besides, the ODI captain of Bangladesh has accomplished 3 milestones on the day of winning the series.
The second match against the Windies is the 100th ODI for Tamim Iqbal on home soil. He is the fourth Bangladeshi cricketer to play the 100th ODI. Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mushfiqur Rahim played their 100th match for Bangladesh on home soil.

The opener made two more history on the same day as the batsman scored the most International runs in one venue at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur. Tamim is at the top of the list with 4199 runs Shakib, who scored 4195 runs, is in the top two of the list with Mushfiqur’s 3951 runs.
Tamim became the first Bangladeshi batsman and the 21st cricketer to reach the 1,000-run milestone against the West Indies. His total runs in white ball cricket is 7246.
