Mushfiqur Rahim has set a record of 400 dismissals in international cricket in the second ODI against the West Indies. This wicket-keeping batsman also marked another milestone on Friday as he surpassed Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s (218) most appearances in ODIs for Bangladesh.

This 33 year old wicket-keeper reached this milestone by stumping Rovman Powell with the ball of Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Powell wanted to play Miraz’s light bounced ball down the wicket and got stumped by Mushfiqur.
There are about 16 wicket-keepers in international cricket who have dismissed at least 400 times, former Proteas wicketkeeper Mark Boucher owns 998 dismissals, Aussie wicketkeeper Adam Grillchrist is in second place with 905 wickets and former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has 829 wickets in the bucket.
Mushfiqur is the third cricketer still in the game. Only Caribbean wicketkeepers Dinesh Ramdin (468) and Quinton de Kock (439) have more dismissals than him.
