Tamim XI have won the second warm-up match by 8 wickets before the start of the series against the West Indies. Opener Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das both got off to a great start to seal the victory of 224 runs target.  

Liton has returned to the dressing room with 48 runs off Hasan Mahmud. Then Nazmul Hossain Shanto came to accompany Tamim. The team got a big victory mainly with the help of captain Tamim and Shanto.

After playing an innings of 63 off 51 balls, Taskin Ahmed send him to the pavilion and Tamim also retired after playing an innings of 80 off 80 balls. Then Mohammad Mithun remained unbeaten on 17 off 17 balls and Soumya Sarkar on 12 off 12 balls.

Earlier, Mahmudullah batted first in the 45-over warm-up match and added 223 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 45 overs. Naeem and Yasir Ali Rabbi scored 45 runs in the opening stand.

Rabbi made 24 runs off 36 balls and fell into the trap of leg-before with the ball of Mahadi Hasan. After that Shakib came down to bat in the crease. Shakib and Naeem made 50 runs for the second wicket partnership. Naeem returned to the dressing room after being bowled by Mehedi with 50 runs of 68 balls.

Shakib has played a total of 62 balls to make his 52 runs and hit only one four and six each.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 25 runs before being bowled by Rubel Hossain. Besides, Mosaddek Hossain scored 31 and Mehedi Hasan Miraz got 11 runs.

Mahadi Hasan had a decent bowling spell for Tamim XI as he took 2 wickets for 31 runs in 9 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin bowled a little bit costly spell but he also took 2 wickets. Besides, Mustafizur Rahman, Nasum Ahmed and Rubel hossein both grabbed 1 wicket each.
